Final Cut Pro X users can now create epic realism in their next project by having dirty lens flare. With ProVega Volume 4 from Pixel Film Studios, editors can produce complex and customizable grungy flare with dirty bokeh and lens scratches.

Film production company and Final Cut Pro X plugin engineers Pixel Film Studios announced the launch of ProVega Volume 4 today, a grungy lens flare plugin for Final Cut Pro X.

"Grungy, dirty lens flares are great for creating a tome realism," Said Christina Austin, CEO of Pixel Film Studios. "With the ProVega Volume 4 plugin for FCPX, you'll be able to take your viewer to a post-apocalyptic world or desert warfare inside the few clicks of your mouse."

With lens dirt textures and dirty bokeh options, users can produce beautiful, grungy looks with ProVega Volume 4. From futuristic warfare to a grungy dance video, this variety of 30 dirty lens flares can make an epic realism in almost any scene in Final Cut Pro X.

After users select their ProVega lens flare, they are able to add 1 of 14 lens textures on the film to provide the illusion that this lens is scratched, smudged, wet or dirty. Then they're able to customize the opacity, color and feather of their lens texture with user friendly controls.

Editors may take total control with their flares using the on-screen controls in the Final Cut Pro X viewer window. By grabbing the handles, they are able to position, rotate and spread the lens flare to get exactly where they desire it to get.

ProVega Volume 4 principal purpose is to help editors customize and create the perfect flare for his or her scene without ever leaving Final Cut Pro X. Filmmakers can quickly and easily change the position, saturation, opacity, intensity, spread, scale, blur, and color parameters to build their very own flare. Editors also can animate the lens flare to react towards the light inside scene.
